It’s not a matter of getting it cheap – it’s free to those who make under the federal poverty level. For me, I make zero dollars a month currently. I know what you’re going to say, “But Night, I thought you had a job.” Yeah that factory job didn’t work out. Too dangerous (30 feet in the air grabbing 40-pound boxes off warehouse racks, driving an 8,000-pound order picker for $14/hr, no thanks), so I quit. I need to find a job that I’m actually comfortable at.

I probably wouldn’t have quit that job after being unemployed for over two years, if I were you. I mean, don’t you live in a small town like 100 miles or so west of Boston? Some small towns are notorious for having only a handful of employers where at least half the town works at.
 
But then again, I’ve been doing blue collar shit for so long, I don’t think I can do much else with my life.

I can’t sleep because of this.

I live uncomfortably close to the San Andreas fault line in LA. You just need to have a plan incase something happens, that way you’ll know what to do instead of worrying about what might happen

Unless your house falls down, the ground shaking is a good thing. It means pressure is being released rather than continuing to build up.

THAT is the whole point of my worry. Despite all the matters of most structures built being labeled as “earthquake proof” doesn’t really count.  
I’ve seen enough of those structures that never really withstood the strength of these tremors in the past circa. the Japan’s 9.0 and even Indonesia’s last year; They’ve even bragged some of it as “earthquake proof” and… yeah.

On the positive side is my location is approximately some 11 to 15 miles to the nearest moving fault, and we have enough open space to run to in case our house do collapse.

I’ve had way too many close calls for spoilers so I’m not going on Twitter until I catch up at the end of April.

Well, I just checked and didn’t find anything saying that they anticipate an even larger quake to hit after the 6.1 that just happened.

Us here are. We are expecting for a potentially strong aftershocks that will prevail for the next two to three weeks and we’re not removing the possibility that this 6.1 might actually be a foreshock.

Never had I ever been given this much work in a week. Maybe it’s equivalent exchange where my weekday will be bad and Saturday will be enjoyable when I see Endgame.

I couldn’t feel my feet or legs after two days on that job. And the commute was also a nightmare. I’d rather go without a job if that was what I was going to have to go through to get paid, honestly.

A head splitting headache in my left eyesocket and molar pain is my body’s way to warn me that I caught some bug and I will feel sick on the next days.  
Well, at least it will not catch me unprepared so it’s something I guess.

First of all: man, that sucks. From your comments I can infer this is your first quake, so I suggest you to keep camomille tea and other nervous aids nearby to help you go through the ordeal.
 
Having said that, a 6.3 quake is only considered as a strong tremor in my country and barely anyone would bother to evacuate their place, mostly because quakes are so common in here that all houses and buildings here are purposely planned and built to stand them.  
I don’t know if it’s a good or a bad thing though.
