While away we also visited Savannah. Nice city.

This is so beyond unbelievable that I absolutely must share it with you guys. I’ll get right to the point: My mother shit her bed not once, but twice in the last two days, and it was bad. I JUST finished cleaning the carpet and the bathroom floor, and starting a load of laundry to wash all the shit-covered garments and rugs. She’s 62 years old and almost completely incontinent now, and I swear if she wasn’t my mother, I would have thrown her into a managed care facility already. This is beyond ridiculous that I, her son, have to actually clean up her shit at her age. I know she doesn’t mean to do it, and it is obviously distressing her, but I’m going to the store today to get her adult diapers. This has got to stop. It smells, it’s gross and it’s very disturbing. Enough is enough.
