I’m sorry if I sometime appear to be shutting some people up.
But I find it pretty difficult to defend people’s right to speech when what they’re advocating is essentially censorship.
It feel like a couple that can never get together.
But I’ll try my best to accommodate.

Hopefully I didn’t at some point appear as pro-censorship. I believe in free speech as a right for sure, but that doesn’t make use of it inconsequential. Nor do I wholeheartedly think internet anonymity is a right or in the same category of free speech itself. I just play the hypothetical devil’s advocate in wondering how getting rid of anonymity would affect mass dickery, trash talk, and trolling online but I can’t say I’d necessarily advocate abolishing it.

Anonymity is a double edged sword. On one end, it allows those who are victimized to speak out without much fear and threat of reprisals. On the other hand, it allows people to do heinous shit with little to no impunity.

Actually you can get rid of it for strictly the second reason and the country of South Korea did for a few years before repealing it. Indeed though, the implications of doing so and beneficial reasons for having it make it a problematic idea to try.

However guys, with the way things go in the world don’t be surprised if free speech and/or anonymity get curtailed more regardless our opinions. Not saying I want it but that it could happen.

This image bugs me, on the one hand kudos for actually making the females as tall or taller than the males, but the males are to bulky the females outfits are nothing like they should be, and one of those 3 woman in the red cloaks should be the largest person there, in terms of bulk, this whole graphic novel series seems to have a real problem understanding that elves don’t get much bigger no matter how strong they are, they are about the size of Olympic runner are most, it ruins the imagery when they are all built like super heroes, also male Drow even the high ranked ones tend to wear very simple clothes as part of the whole dehumanizing them thing, (Which i will be honest much as i love mr Salvatore’s work, he really botched the Drow as a Matriarchy,)

In D&D’s main setting the Forgotten Realms dark elves(Drow) are supposed to have larger females than males, the image got that right, but it’s otherwise really bad about things, drow woman who are mostly priestesses almost always wear full body covering robes that are thin enough to show off their figure but are not see through, in the comic they are all wearing BDSM gear,
and one of those girls up there in the red cloaks is supposed to be one of the 3 largest drow in the fiction to date, she’s no bigger than her sisters who were very typical,

But that’s the thing. If society wants to praise honesty, then they should be consistent with it and not just praise it sometimes and scorn it when it’s not convenient or polite.

Because, odd as it may sound, honesty is not just about saying things that you think or know to be true. It is more complicated than that. Being honest carries with it unspoken integrity and sincerity of character; a sense of fairness in how you present yourself and how you treat others. It’s an important distinction, because truth on its own can easily be more of a blunt tool than an illuminating idea. A club to metaphorically beat in the heads of those who disagree with your own worldview, or a weapon to hurt those you disagree with. True honesty is better than that, and involves as much recognition for the potential hurt careless words can cause as it does for the truth that needs to be conveyed.
