My guess is that the infamous Bulbaderp did it for a final hurrah before she deactivated her account. I mean I remember her commenting on several of my pics saying stuff like

I’m too low key and upload too infrequently on FIMFic, and Derpiboo.ru seems to have a grudge against my art for whatever reason. And Tumblr… well, it’s just crazy.

That’s a good question. I mean look at how well my pics have done over here (read: poorly). Then compare it to the mostly positive reception I have on deviantART.

I’ve lost a little respect for Sci-Show, the science youtube channel ran by Hank Green and co, from recent eps.
 
They’ve fallen into click-bait territory, and a lot of their recent videos have had errors big enough that the typically vapid and idiotic Youtube comments section can see them. This seems to plague science themed channels, they get to a point where they don’t think they can appeal without turning it into pure entertainment.

Yeah, this is an increasing problem lately, both with science shows using inaccurate and exaggerated scientific facts to try and capture mass appeal in a very commercialized world, and with the growing flawed reasoning of The Green Brothers and their affiliates in particular.

The comments section of sci-show in particiular is a good bell-weather.
 
Look at the older eps, or the eps over on crash course and you see actual intelligent discussion and thoughtful, for Youtube, commenting. Now, it’s a sea of memes, circle-jerks, and bullshit. Again, it’s the Youtube comments section, not exactly a forum in ancient Athens, but at one time theirs was one of the more civil.

I don’t pay much attention to Tyson. Not because I disagree or don’t like him, but because physics isn’t something that interests me. He’s also become more of an activist recently, so I just sort of leave them be. As I’ve stated before, radical atheism is annoying me to almost the same level as radical Christianity/Islam.
 
About the time I saw a well known atheist try and argue that fantasy games/books encourage religious thought I knew that some of them were going off the deep end.
