The hypocrisy of the US government just baffles me and irritates me at the same time: every summer, they’re shutting down lemonade stands (even outright destroying some of them) all across the country, yet they won’t lay a finger on all those Girl Scout cookie stands that keep popping up everywhere. Just…why? Why the fuck would you wanna break the hearts of all those little kids all because they’re operating their little lemonade stand without a business license? SINCE WHEN DO YOU NEED A BUSINESS LICENSE TO RUN A GODDAMN LEMONADE STAND IN A GODDAMN FREE COUNTRY?!

It feels like the world is so judgmental these days especially (not sure if it’s always been like this or has just gotten worse), like everyone is so quick to turn on someone they had previously liked and demonize them. Nobody ever stops to think that it’s them that’s the problem and not the people they’re judging.
That’s not a good place for a guy to try to make it through life. I’ve become so scared to trust anyone. Trust has screwed me over before, multiple times, so it feels naïve to continue to do so.
And maybe that’s part of what has made it hard to make friends? Like, it’s not like I don’t want to have friends, people I get along with, meaningful relationships. It’s just that without even knowing I’m doing it, I unintentionally wind up driving everyone away. Like, I look at my dad, and he has hundreds of friends, and I look at my own life, and while I have had a few lasting acquaintances, I don’t have any ongoing, meaningful friendships–or any that have lasted even over two years.
I don’t know if that’s because of my trust issues, or my Asperger’s, or just because people don’t like me.

Well, if you have trust issues, then you shouldn’t feel worry, as that makes you hard to get attracted to shady deals. But developing trust in others is necessary, maybe you can take some lessons, may be someone you think you can trust like a very close friend or even us. And if you think the asperger is causing you so much baggage, I think you should try some therapy; step-by-step, you might slowly get over with. In the last case, you shouldn’t feel worried about not having too much friends, is not easy but it doesn’t need to be too hard if you try to keep contact. Hearing htem out, sharing a moment.
