Indeed. Hitler even tried to coax Turkey and Iraq into allying with him and attacking the USSR. He was also a bit fond of the Indians, especially the Japanese-allied Indian National Army. His racial standards were confusing, to say the least, and there were alternating situations where he was either dogmatic or pragmatic.  
And as i say, alternate history isn’t an entirely precise exercise. We don’t know who would succeed Hitler after his later death in an alternate timeline. We can’t accurately predict for much other than a few decades at best. There’s a large gap between 1940 and 2018.

that’s pretty much how the germans got so much soviet territory early (they anticipated a two pronged attack so they split their forces for german and japanese theaters of operation). when it was clear japan wasn’t going to attack they moved the rest of their forces to help repel the germans.

Well, Hitler eventually chose Japan over China after he perceived that the Japanese were doing better against the Chinese (alone). But yes, China did receive technical training from German generals at the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War.  
Japan’s war crimes during WW2 are also an ugly topic. Some would even say that the Showa Japanese committed more atrocities than the Nazis.

Even then, i doubt Japan invading Siberia would have made much of a difference. The IJA was a bunch of toy soldiers if compared to the smart and more resourceful Red Army, it’s not a surprise that they got their asses handed to them on a plate at Kalkhin Gol.
