I spent like 5 minute trying to figure out what this one test I did in SpSS wasn’t significant despite having a difference in means of over 50.
 
I was reading the stupid thing wrong and was looking at the significance value for Levenes Test, not my damn t test.

I was reading about this kid who survived being shot in the head, more than ten cars drove by as he laid on the roadside dying.

I’m not surprised. There are tons of people who need help and people just walk or drive by. I see it all the time.

So, on another note:
 
I hate fandom drama.
 
Glim glam Drama, movie drama, all this negativity.
 
I get that you can criticize what ever you want, and I will state right up front that the movie wasn’t the greatest thing ever.
 
But really, I get sick of dealing with drama.

It’s extremely well documented and extremely distressing.

I thought that the bystander effect only applied to people who were aware of the situation at hand. If you were to see a person dying on the side of the road, panicking and driving away is not the same as not helping because you assume that somebody else already has.
 
Wait, never mind. You have a point if it was in a crowded area. I assumed that the event occurred in a semi-rural area, with one car driving by every few minutes or so.

No where in his post did he say they panicked and drove away. Just that 10 or so cars just drove by while he was bleeding out on the road. You’re assuming emotional state, which can’t be accurately assumed.
 
They just milled on by, in a high awareness situation (with a novel event happening), and moved on. Seems very likely to be Bystander Effect related.
