This is a wake up call for the political right to set up their own Silicon Valley.  
The only way to defeat them I see is to compete against the established brands. What better time than now with politically motivated censorship running amok?

I’d say forget the political alignment and question if there’s any good reason to censor channels. Is someone threatening someone’s life, posting illegal content, etc?
 
Now we all have to remember “free speech” doesn’t apply to private sites, even social media. Typically such sites can shut down anyone on them, even for the weakest reasons. However, if people are being silenced just because someone disagrees with them at least you have the piece of mind that the censors don’t have the integrity to deal with something and that at least gives supporters a piece of mind in that category.

My job is not very consistent anymore. We’ve had a slow month last month, but now we’re in one of our busy months. It’s gonna be super busy at work, which means having to work an almost three straight weeks (meaning very few days off, if any). On top of that, I have the worst leads I’ve ever had the displeasure of taking orders from. They’re bitchy and naggy and I have the feeling that at least one of them don’t like me very much. I’m THIS CLOSE (half an inch between my index finger and thumb) to quitting for that reason alone, that’s how toxic my job has become! I’m not paid enough to put up with their shit! I’d rather paint paintings and sell them online/do commissions again!

I hate it when advertisers start running their “summer fun” ads in fucking August, when summer is almost over! I kinda defeats the purpose! They should start in May, the earliest.

Coming to terms with the fact that you have parental issues is . . . difficult.
 
Mostly with my dad. It’s starting to hit me how emotionally absent he was during my childhood. I feel bad because he seems to realise this and is nicer to me now than he was many years ago, but I usually feel disconnected from him.

I know how that feels. Even though I spent so much time with my parents, I don’t really know them much. I know a few things here and there, but I won’t be able to write a single page in bullet form for each parent alone.

I’m actually old enough to get a driver’s permit now. I could get one in 3 days if I just read the damn booklet. But seriously: Everytime I try to read the thing I feel like I’m reading lawyer jargon. Fuck, man, it’s hard to understand it. But without reading it, I actually got a 7/10 on the practice test.

Damn I’m pissed beyond belief right now. I could have applied for graduation about 2, maybe 3 months ago. Instead, I wasn’t told this information by the college and just now discovered it. I have to get my application in ASAP before I can get my degree by the end of this year in December, possibly not until Jan of next year.
