Because why would they? Many businesses will take any opportunity to pay workers less money. That’s why this whole previous pay system exists. It creates a wage spiral, lower starting wages means lower ending wages, which means when you switch to a new job your starting wage there is lower, and the cycle continues.

Workers everywhere staged a general strike in favour of their rights, as there’s an ongoing vote about a constitutional ammendment to “flexibilize” workers’ rights against the workers and in favour of the employers, practically. Problem is, some people hated the strike as they have a lot of right-wing and neoliberalist dogma – they mocked, laughed, and said they’d “spend the strike day doing the country a favour and working unlike these vagabonds”. Much do they forget that it is THEIR working rights that are also being taken away with this constitutional ammendment proposal.
Brazilian neoliberals tend to be so neglectful, spiteful, condescending, and unempathic.

The last several updates has made it almost unusable. Slow, and constantly crashing. When i’m on sites like Facebook and DeviantART, it always freezing. I’ll just stick with Chrome from now on.
