I don’t know why people think Aquaman is good  
The screenplay is so dry and barebones, it’s like some used the first draft  
The only scene I liked was the one with the kraken thing talking to Aquaman  
It had good action at times but overall, yuck

Tommy Shaw’s singing voice > Dennis DeYoung’s singing voice
 
And this is coming from someone who likes Styx.

2000’s entertainment in general gets too much hate

Not hate, but it is vastly ignored. It’s always about the decades before, like the 90’s, which I think is overrated and the 80’s, which I do like but is overexposed too much. The 2000’s really needs more love.

I’m all for original ideas, but I do think reboots, remakes and revivals should still be used of developing stories if people can do something new and creative with them.
