Maybe, but we’re talking about media that portray all religions/religious people/gods as evil just to act like humans are the greatest thing ever created and humanity is above gods.

Possibly.

I think for me a lot of it is that I don’t experience shaudenfreude (or however that’s spelled) the same way that lots of people do.
 
I don’t watch a movie and want characters to get beaten up if they’ve been specifically written to evoke that response and nothing else. It feels contrived. Rarely do I WANT bad people to be humiliated in fiction.
 
And that ties in with the religious angle because I feel like it exists JUST to mock it or condemn it and nothing else.

I think that’s suppose to happen to characters are given the treatment they gave others, bad people getting treated badly in this case.

My favorite CCR songs are Proud Mary and Run Through The Jungle.

CCR is, I’d say, my 2nd or 3rd favorite band in the world.
 
One of the reasons I hate Suicide Squad so much, funnily enough. Why was Fortunate Son used for Killer Croc
 
It shows how shallow that movie was. “Yea, this song sounds kinda bayou’ish, lets make it the croc guy’s song”.
 
Yes, the song about Class struggles, elitism, and fucking Vietnam is the song they pick for the GIANT FUCKING CROCODILE MAN.
 
If they wanted to use a CCR song for Killer Croc to invoke a bayou sound, why not Bad Moon Rising (since he’s a villain), or Down on the Corner, a song about street singers in New Orleans (well, street singers anywhere, but most folk associate with New Orleans).
 
Or hell, scrap the CCR idea for Croc and put a song from a band that was actually from the South, and put I Put a Spell on You for Enchantress.
 
Such a souless movie.

Yeah, I didn’t like Suicide Squad either. It was such a hokey film and wasted a very good premise.

I’m not a huge fan of coffee. It wakes me up, but it doesn’t taste very good and it gives me a stomachache whenever I drink it.
 
I much prefer tea.

Some teas do. One I drink is specifically decaffeinated.

Caffeine has no perceivable effect on my energy levels.
