Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

Tanned skin and bleached hair is ugly.

It always peeves me when certain artists, art styles, or shows don’t draw characters with noses. Like, why do they so often forget those? They could draw characters super detailed and clearly put a lot of effort into certain parts (often the eyes), yet completely skip the nose. Why? It’s not that hard to draw. If anything, ears are the hard things to draw, at least for me.
 
TBH, I mostly blame anime for this. They seem to have a boner for not giving characters noses.

Does it make me a mad scientist that I think IRB’s (institutional review boards) are becoming too cautious?
 
Now, I’m not asking them to approve my study on the effects of forced cyborgization on the human psyche, it goes without saying that that doesn’t need approval. Just funding.

Usually it’s a stylistic choice, not because they forgot about it.

A lot of people tend to be too cautious and it has limited science before, it’s something worth looking into at least.

An adendum: Cartoony art styles or ones that are supposed to be simplistic like Eddsworld (for an example) are okay. It only bugs me in certain art styles, like the semi-realistic ones.
 
What I so often see are incredibly detailed eyes, wrinkles on shirts, etc., but with no nose. That annoys me.

I really REALLY dislike the Unspoken Plan Guarantee in most stories when they’re done by heroes. When I sense that one is coming I just stop caring. And when I don’t sense one coming, I get pissed off when it happens.

Basically, imagine a villain is on the verge of winning and it’s the end of our heroes. Then, a really smart protagonist suddenly flashes a smirk or grin, and says “All according to plan,” whereupon some unseen machination that he’d set into motion long ago comes to fruition and defeats the villain.

i think it when a character has a plan but the audience isn’t told what it is until it’s done.

I’d call that “pulling a plan out of my *** in the last 5 or 10 minutes of the movie”. I can’t remember any movies or shows that do this, but my memory is pretty short term.

I have no interest in Cuphead.

I played Fallout, Fallout 2, and New Vegas to death, I would reinstall Fallout 4 if I had anywhere near enough hard drive space. I loved GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas. If only I had a working PS2 and CRT television to play them on.

Weird, I follow him on Twitter and I haven’t seen much of this, though maybe it just gets buried by everyone else I follow…
 
But yeah, it’s annoying. I actually had to unfollow Tara Strong on Twitter because 90% of her tweets became about Trump. I actually agree with her on most of it, but it got so tiring after a while.

I still don’t have a problem with Tara’ s Twitter.

he would’ve been 4 at the time of the 1986 transformers movie. that’s a long time to carry a grudge over a fictional character.

I don’t know if this counts as an opinion or not but I use Waifu to mean “Favorite female charter” for a long time I couldn’t get either favorite or charter in spellcheck.

I still like Age of Ultron than the the rest of the Avenger movies.

My opinion of Germany has plummeted.
