I still have some concerns, because the trailer Sonic movie is making me think of the live action/cgi Chipmunks and The Smurfs movies… which were not the best movies.

I haven’t had a chance to seen Detective Pikachu yet, plus it has more to do with the sort of humor that Sonic looks like it’s going to have. Which makes me think of the live action Chipmunks and Smurfs.

Personally I think they might be selling the rest of them short. Belle definitely brings book smarts to the table, and between Snow White and Ariel you’ve got creatures of both the land and sea lining up to provide assistance. Certainly both of those things would have some potential uses.
So I was watching a review for the soon to be released Frozen sequel, and it’s always nice to see people asking the important questions in the comments.

Jasmine is a very skilled fighter,
You know, I always seem to forget about Jasmine. I think it’s because, good as a character she may be, she was not really the focus of the movie or even the title character, so it’s easier for her to slip through the mental filters.
But yes, she does bring some additional fighting skills to the table.
