A real surprise after going full ASBAR with the new Titans series.

Also Wonder Woman 1984 the title for the sequel was announced.  
No footage yet at least not that I could find.  
Kinda funny they’re setting this in the 80s like the Bumblebee movie (actually in 84 the exact year the TF brand started) since I been saying Wonder Woman should have been like that movie seemed like it’s going to be disregard everything else and just the new starting point.

Well if there was ever a person who could accurately bring to life an adult superhero with the mind of a kid and godlike powers, it would be Zachary Levi. I can honestly say I’m looking forward to seeing that one.
 
Though it does make me wish they could have brought some of this to Superman. I mean, they’re both supposed to be positive and optimistic heroes, but comparing Shazam to the guy we’ve seen in the other films feels a bit like Adam West’s Batman meeting Frank Miller’s Dark Knight.

Shazam’s trailer was kinda crappy. Did they really need to throw in a gag about him not knowing how to piss? Hopefully the actual movie isn’t as bad as that.

Shazam from the looks of it could either way it seems kind of standard super hero origin with the testing their powers thing but it has the good nature upbeat feel something like that ought to have.
 
But between the two Aquaman’s the one I’ve gone back to most. With that one I’m seeing a lot of the things I hoped would be in an Aquaman movie: Mera Erm Black Manta having to become king to stop war.  
Even the Trench seems to make it in wasn’t expecting that but that shoot where they’re swarming the boat looked really good.

Everyone’s going on about the edgefest that is Teen Titans no one wants to talk about announcement of the more upbeat sounding Stargirl series.

I think it’s DC’s fault, they don’t market the things people feel are actually good, or may be good, so people only talk about the bad stuff or TTG,

It’s just been announced so there’s no images for it of cast or anything but from the sound of it it’s about Courtney having to get the JSA back together. Which sounds fun the young new heroine having to get the old guys back together reinvigorate they’re old fightin spirt.

It’s just kinda funny to me that there’s the Teen Titans thing then there’s Shazam and Aquaman and now this series announcement it’s like the TT production team missed the memo.
 
Also not DC but Star Trek Discovery is also trying to be more like fun space adventures in their season 2 trailer.

Considering that the whole thing was stirred up by a far-right asshole Mike Cernovich in a transparent attempt to silent a prominent critic of alt-right and Trump, hell yeah it went too far.

just watched the first episode of cloak & dagger, it’s pretty good so far.
