Season 1 is one of the best. Quality dips around 3 and 4, but picks up again in 5 and on.

Maybe. I remember liking S2, but I did bing the show while it was halfway through S2 so it wasn’t as bad as it probably could’ve been for me.

I re-watched The Relic yesterday…outside of the practical effects it’s not as good as I remembered it.

Well not to jump on the hate bandwagon but I always thought Joss Whedon was overrated anyway.
 
Though you bring up something I have been pondering on for like the past week (before this) which is which is better(?) a creator who’s work is horrible but the guy/lady in question is super nice and likable or a creator that has done amazing fantastic works but they’re a colossal prick?

And outside of the actual monster, which had a kickass design, it has not aged well in the slightest.
