I think they do go towards 100 percent completion. And the free car you get for beating them all is totally worth your time. Trust me.

I remember that Gran Turismo 4 had a LOT better graphics
 
The Playstation 2 is more capable than these sub-par graphics on GT3…
 
I mean, I know it’s from 2000… but the PS2 was actually pretty powerful…

PS2 only have total whooping 6 gigaflops.
 
Meanwhile my laptop Nvidia GeForce 940m have 823 gigaflops
 
PS3 220 Gigaflops
 
Xbox one 1311 gigaflops
 
PS4 1820 gigaflops
 
But then again, even though Xbox have more raw power than my laptop. But my laptop is have graphic comparable to Xbox one even more powerful, it run Far Cry 4 at 30-35 fps low and med setting. I can thanks that to Direct X 12 and vulkan
 
Just one note here. My laptop CPU i7 5500u have twice more raw power than PS4 CPU. Despite it only have 2 cores while PS4 have 8 cores

Just one thing, why GTA3 and SA have well lower graphic than Grand Turismo is because well, I don’t know. The map is very large. So they do need to sacrifice the quality for that other or it won’t fit into DVD.

Well that’s because GT4 was capable of 1080i
 
One of the things that make Gran turismo stand out is the graphics, even in the PS1, for their time, they were great.

Well, those S turns from the beginning of the track were pretty easy for me, in fact, I enjoyed them.  
I’ve always enjoyed the layout of the layout of domplex string some I was a kid.  
It’s a shame that I can’t play races in them.  
But its the track I go to when I want to tune a car and see the result.

Hmm, you know what could help?  
When I was on the S-3 test, I decided to look at the demonstration replay, IDK if you have them turned on, but if you go to “Replay options” you can activate certain things, for example, the steering wheel, acceleration and brakes, when you activate these, you’ll see how the driver used the steering wheel, brakes and acceleration, I believe there’s also speed which COULD also be useful.

If I buy GT4 and GTA trilogy, I’ll be going back to poverty…

Also, last day, I barely played my PS2, I finished a championship, and an S test, but that’s it, the rest of the day was spent on my Wii… playing NES games…  
Mostly shitty ones like Ghostbusters and Fester’s quest…  
But I did play other good ones like Punch out, Contra and Mega man.
