That’s why it was a question, the way you phrased it I guess made it sound like the site (is there an official site up yet like last time?) announced that some characters in Brawl were unpopular with players.
 
And Lucario to me seems like a timely thing were they would swap him out with another more recent Pokemon like what happened to Mewtwo
 
Also, is it still being developed by Namco? I really hope they don’t do anything stupid like add Pac-Man. That would just be an insult to Nintendo because Nintendo prides itself on having broken The Video Game Crash that loads of Pac-Man knockoffs and equivalents caused.

For one thing, I really want Sonic back.  
For another, I’d really like to see some updates to character movesets. We know so far that Pit now has an Arm-type weapon and Orbitar-type weapon from Uprising as part of his moves, but I’d like to see a weapon from each group incorporated somehow. And I’d like to see Jigglypuff get an overhaul to reflect her Normal/Fairy retyping.

It’s not like the Smash Dojo, at least not right now. But it could end up like it as time goes.
 
And Namco-Bandai is only helping them make the game, they aren’t in charge, Sakurai is.

Every day of the new site not being like the Smash Dojo- EVERY DAY of not knowing if Sonic will be in Smash Bros. for WiiU/3DS- is pure agony.

I would expect Lloyd from ToS.

This just in from the Nintendo Direct: Luigi is confirmed. I repeat, Luigi is confirmed for Smash Bros. 4.  
The fact that he’s been confirmed so soon makes me wonder if he’ll be a default character this time around.

Luigi is my favorite Nintendo character who is not from Pokemon.

Even if I like to play as Luigi (Fast and strong moves), I would like to see his tornado thingy to no longer have a recovery or having it very weak, that would be more balance to put in the game.

Eh, they’re just revealing him this early because of the Year of Luigi.
 
Might not mean anything for his availability in the game.

Is it just me or does his artwork really look similar to his Sonic Adventure CG artwork in terms of style?

I still want Skull Kid to be upgraded to a playable character Nintendo. If you aren’t gonna remake MM, atleast do that so the fans would be happy.
