Which it wouldn’t happen if Bisignano and Hammersley would let Nefcy have her creative freedom and canonize Starco on Season 2. Then Star would be a happy little bunny with magical asskicking super powers instead of Courtney 3.0

Didn’t you see Bon Bon the Birthday Clown and Just Friends? She was unhappy for Jarco and she destroyed a billboard and Jackie’s skateboard. With her dark green evil magic.
 
Also on Season 3, she got back together with Tom, which it reminds me of how Scourtney was established in TD AllStars.

That’s not acting like courtney, just because she was unhappy that her CRUSH was in another relationship doesn’t make her bad, Destorying the billboard was her not knowing how to control her emotions, she was in emotional turmoil, while Courtney wasn’t.
 
Her getting with Tom was her liking Tom and wanting to get over Marco so he could be happy. You really have a strange idea of what acting like a brat is, you seem to imply showing negative emotions is acting like Courtney. Maybe you should try to see where Star is coming from instead of pointing getting mad at her and thinking she’s acting like a brat. She is far better than Courtney and Star isn’t prefect.

Look, it just reminds me of it. If she was happy for him and Jackie instead of not controlling her emotions (or hell, if the producers didn’t meddle with Daron Nefcy’s creative freedom and canonize Starco), she wouldn’t be comparable to her in the first place.
 
If I would have been part of the show, I would make Starco canon rather than separating them. Yes, people will whine at the fact that it’s cliché but there has to be better ways of character development and drama rather than Star’s breakdown and not canonizing Starco and instead canonizing Jarco, Kellco and Tomstar for the rest of the series just because the producers said so and not Nefcy.

You know what would be funny? If Starco was canon for a while, but then the two break up as friends in the end because they both have things to do and are still working on how their relationship works.
 
Then we have some kind of future scene where their relationship is vague as hell.

That would piss a lot of fans off. there is a reason when a couple hooks up that they stay that way unless otherwise stated in the story. Like say in the case of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. They never started a relationship even though it was moving towards one until she was uncermoniously killed off. There are other examples as well. The most notorious being Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. THAT pissed a lot of fans off. They got married for fucks sake and for whatever reason they retconned it. These few examples are the reason why couples stay couples unless there is a very VERY good reason they break up or dont get together.

Except emotions dont work that way. You dont get over a crush that hard in a span of a couple months. A year? maybe. Several years? definately. The way they portrayed it though is what put a LOT of people off. It was too quick paced and caused a bit of confusion. I mean come on! She started sniffing his hoodie for cripes sake!

I mean, in Svtfoe’s case, they’re all just teenagers with confusing hormones, growing up to be responsible adults.
 
I never really liked how media portrayed teenage love. Most real life examples don’t last that long, and others were initially friends during teenagers and only hooked up as working adults. Teens are still in the experimental stage, which is why for me, it’d be best if they truly hooked up in the future.

Also, I knew someone would bring that up. I tend to plan these things ahead of time, which is why I will say this.
 
I never said that I hated StarCo. I know that StarCo will be the end goal regardless. However, no matter the ship, I put good storytelling above everything else. What I planned is to show the characters Star and Marco grow to be responsible adults first. I want them to give themselves some space so that they can think over this for a bit. The future bit is based on various shows which do the same. The idea of it being vague is simply to enable positive fan-involvement, letting them speculate and discuss amongst themselves. Not only it would extend the lifespan of the show after its own ending, but also make reruns more memorable. However, the vagueness would only be shown in the animated series. Should the story ever have a “lost” extra episode, it can tie up those loose ends. The director’s cut would be phenomenal!
 
I don’t think on the spot, or focus entirely on the present. I plan ahead with a beginning, middle and end.
