[Dark] Depression/Suicides within the fandom (The revival)

Everyone gets their own afterlife. That’s my belief. I don’t want to be surrounded by elderly folk and being told what to do and what not to do for eternity.

Considering all three have led to people being murdered in both the olden days, and modern times, I can think of a few ways they could sink below neutral.
 
Also, again, the psychological effect of these ideas cannot be overstated. I can throw about 100 suicide notes your way that list “over bearing religious parents/spouses/etc” as one of the reasons.
 
Lastly, when it starts to be used legislatively as a hammer, there is a problem. Look to the gay marriage debate, or hell the interracial marriage debate.
 
 
But we’re getting far off topic, so lets pull this out of the weeds before we gain the wrath of the actual gods here, our lovely mod team.

Fine, but I will say that most of those are problems with government and if the two are sufficiently separated then such problems likely wouldn’t occur.

Any that don’t say “there is no afterlife”, or that I’ve been wasting my life online. That’s why I left the TGWTG forums.
 
I mainly came back so I could continue posting colored pics of Marauder6272’s inked drawings without fear of people criticizing me (as I just discovered the ability to disable auto-subscribing for every post I make).

Being an atheist does not mean that you are an asshole who tries to push your beliefs onto other people and laughs at them as they do not accept your “completely superior knowledge”. In fact, I am against doing that. I love it when people believe in what they want, as long as they do not try to make others feel horrible for what they believe in.

I am an atheist, if that explains what I was writing about. I was trying to say that I allow people to believe in what they want to. I would also add that I try not to get into religious arguments, but with the way this discussion is going, that would be hilariously ironic.

Each day that happens I’m more confident about that I have depression. Today I read an article about it in a psychology site, and wow, the way that was described seemed like it was taken from a blog in which I drop words.
 
This day was something special, it’s Thursday and usually I have to go to some drawing course but I decided to stay in home, because I was feeling horrible, and principally; I wanted to talk about it with my father, I wanted to confess the sensations that I been having since a long time ago.
 
We talked about it and I requested to go instead to a psychologist, I been feeling guilty for not asking to stop the course before, considering that it was expensive. Even if he was bothered at the beginning, he forgive me, said that there are other things more important than money, and at the end, we hugged each other, I was crying…
 
I think I did a good decision, it’s not easy to open oneself and to talk about it like trivial things of everyday, we are exposing to the other person our insecurities, our sadness. But if I want to do the things that I love with enjoyment instead of feeling like some kind of duty that I impose to myself, first I need to fix the interior, otherwise if I don’t heal the root, the pain will spread everywhere.

I hate my job.

Well, I did the most difficult step, which is the first one; to confess.
 
I was insecure if to tell him but I knew that if I keep everything like always, the pain was only going to accumulate. At least to having already a very good relation with him made things a bit easier, I was principally worried about how would he react…
