Must have not been important or interesting, though it seems to have been to you. Hopefully this isn’t a “for me it was a Tuesday” thing. And the fact that you had to go out of your way to say you don’t like me rather amused me. Whatever I did must have left an impact. Not the one I wanted to make, but an impact none the less.
 
 
But you missed my point entirely, so I’m going to assume you must have in our last debate as well.
 
 
I’m talking about people who diberatly spread their hate and loathing to other people. The guys that try and drag everyone else down with them in the cycle of despair. I’m not talking ISIS terrorists here, I’m talking about people we interact with on a daily basis.
 
The ones that try and make other people feel miserable. The ones that try and make you stop caring about others. And my entire rant was about how I’m not going to let them bring me down. I.e. not caring about what they try and do.
 
So you just keep trucking along with your pony art.

Agreed. That post reeks of self-righteous virtue signalling. What’s the point of banging your head against a wall trying to change something as immutable and eternally-flawed as human nature? People are greedy and selfish, China figured that out millennia ago. It’s never going to change, and nothing is going to change until it does. Humanity and circumstance are in deadlock with each other, therefore we are screwed.
 
I’ve personally found coming to terms with my total inability to change anything to be quite freeing. Can’t fix it; don’t care.

Bold words, but I think I may have misworded myself.
 
I was more saying that these people seem to spread a sense of self loathing and cynicism with what they do. And that it drives other people to it, and makes them feel just as jaded and diskish. And thus the cycle repeats.
 
I’m saying I’m not going to fall into that cycle, and that I’m going to try and avoid becoming some jaded fuckwit.

The fact that you use terms such as “jaded fools”, and say things like “I find myself growing disgusted with some people.” and “I’ve come to hate a few people who I’ve spoken to directly. I find them disgusting, they rattle my very being.” would suggest you’re already just as jaded and cynical as everybody else.

Not really. Because I can take a step back and get happy again, and I don’t let it stop me.
 
I legitimately know people that have fallen so far that they claim nothing makes them happy, and they spend most of their time online yelling and screaming about what they hate.
 
I know this one guy, he spends 11 hours a day on a forum complining how all women hate him, and that we should send them back to the kitchen. He does nothing else, just sits, yells, and is miserable.
 
That’s an extreme case, but it illustrates my point. If you can’t separate yourself from all that shit, and if you live a life of self loathing, angst, and anger, then you’re lost.
 
I’d never want to become someone like that. But damn if they don’t try and make you follow their path.
 
Also stop using the term “everyone”. Not everyone is the same.

That guy you mentioned is what is known as an “incel”, and they’re completely hopeless. They are the biggest impediment to men’s rights advocacy.
 
I personally just gave up on happiness quite a while ago; I don’t even hate anything anymore. It is what it is, and I’m just waiting until I don’t have to be a part of it anymore. There’s nothing to miss anyway.

Here’s the irony, you’re already being bring down by those people, you said that “not caring about what they try and do.” and yet I see of your post venting it about it. It’s not shame to admitted that those people effecting you, it’s just natural that when someone being mean to us or just act like an asshole trying to make our day like a s***, we feel like a s****. This is also applied to me, like for example, our last debate. yes it have some negative impact on me, yes when ever I being reminded with it, I feel like a s*** and it make it worse thanks to my insecurites. But all of those are just my emotion and how I feel and that’s just about it, I accept how the way I feel and in the way it freeing me from the tyranny of my own emotion.

From my point of view, it looked like your first post here seemed a bit unespecific and open, I even was unsure about what you were exactly referring to; so it might have been interpreted in many ways. After all, Cyan still only wanted to help in a thread which one of its purposes is that, and commented with another kind of example about hating a situation but not being able to do anything about it, and this also happens in daily basis; you might find also people that might induce hate into the world, but you can’t change the mindset of each one of them. One of the only things that you can do is to accept it, and dedicate to what you like or what it brings pleasure to your life, and don’t let those persons affect you, like you lastly said.
 
Having said this, might have that been the point or not, I found still a bit “questionable” some of your sayings, such as when you referred to “keep trucking along with your pony art”; maybe it might have not been your intention, or maybe I misunderstood the phrase, after all, my English isn’t yet perfect, but at least form me it sounded a bit despective in something that he finds pleasure to do and only was part of an example about “letting things be, concentrate in yourself and what you care of”, or at the beginning when you expanded with assumptions the fact that he reminded you and been honest in saying how he felt with you; maybe he likes debates, maybe he has facilities to remind people, maybe he found interesting what been discussed with you; if you didn’t recall, it’s still fine, you don’t have the obligation, though still I can’t help to feel that it was a bit unecessary.

I have to say, I really don’t like the way Zincy use that phrase to me. “Passive aggressive” is one of the way upset to you and reading how he react to my reply while I am trying to is quite make me numb. Yes I know, the way that my reply can be seen not “quite nice.” but hey at least I am something that I passionate and care about that make me feel happy.

Yeah, I can understand that maybe that might bring some negative attention at first glance, but I believe that all what he meant was expressing his feelings in a honest way, such as a note that he reminds that didn’t have a very good time with you but still wanted to give his opinion, which also potentially what is being said might be affected by the feelings that he have and what recalled to debate with you. The honesty, while it’s respectful, is always appreciated, at least from my point of view.

And again that’s just my feeling, it’s doesn’t make you the worst person ever, it doesn’t you tied with Hitler or (insert any terrible dictator). It’s just how I feel toward you at least now, that’s it. Yes it can be quite unpleasant to hear it. But the end of the day it’s just a feeling.

You know, after some thinking. I think I know the reason why sometimes I feel miserable, the main reason is because I usually expected positive outcome, like for example venting to make me feel very calm, expected someone to do what I want in short time, expected to beat the game without dying, expected to eat a lot and not hungry for next few hours and other.
 
What were I thinking? Expected everything will go smoothly will only make me like the most incompetent, it’s like you fall from the ladder and then the ladder hit you. No matter how much you are skillful at something there is always a possibility of failure. Also failure isn’t a bad thing, it’s an just something natural thing.

I’ve feel that realizing this is part of getting older, and how well you do in life depends on how well you face that fact. Life is often a series of failures and certain people just are afraid of that for their own reasons and others find that they don’t care too much about it. For example any talent requires failing many times but you have to ask what went wrong and ask How not to make this specific mistake again, not how to never make a mistake. Like they say, even the best mess up too.  
Like you say life over all is like this too, you realize that failures and bad things happen big and small but we have to try our best to move forward, learn that next time have someone at that ladder to make sure you don’t fall. Not that every thing is easy to take: obviously a bad breakup is harder to get over than forgetting your phone is in your pocket when you go swimming. And not everything is in our control, like losing a family member or someone doing bad things to you… But what I guess I’m saying is we can’t always expect everything to go right, hard as that can be sometimes. We’ve all had to face that.

It’s okay, if you basically same the same as you said. You just expand on what I said and it’s quite nice to see how you expand it.
 
One other thing that I realize is that bad experience isn’t actually bad. Like for example what we already said failure. Yes it suck when it failed, no denying in that but we can learn a lot from failing, so we can minimises it. Other bad experience is like breaking up from love one, yeah it’s suck when that happened, but we can learn what the leading the cause of break up, change our attitude and other. Other example is motorcycles accident that lead us to more careful on the road.
 
The thing that common on bad experience is that they feel suck when that happened, but that’s the exact opportunity for us to learn something from it. Bad experience is something good because it lead us to exam what we done wrong and try be better ourselves in the future. There is no shame to have a bad experience, and it might be something hat we should proud of, because bad experience we become better people.

I agree with everything you’re saying. Of course, I think not everything can have a positive outcome: If you break your neck on your motorcycle and become quadriplegic, I don’t think improving your driving will be on your mind often. Other than that, that’s a pretty good example.
 
I think we’re defined more by our losses than anything else, down to even the tiniest thing. How we live our life is often determined by what we choose to take away from them. Not that you necessarily “get over” everything: there are things that happened years and years ago that weigh heavy on me. But I still appreciate the change they caused in me.

Well that’s an exceptions, thought you still can pass your wisdom to other people like your family or kids. Thought what I referring is just minor injuries like sprain, non serious wound and maybe at most broken bone that doesn’t lead to paralyzes. I might need be more clarified.
