Yeah me too. I also didn’t think he deserved to die like that, but I found it hard to sympathize since he himself was a horrible person.

To be honest no one likes it. But it kinda gives me memories of the times I used to scare people like that.

It’s extremely hypocritical, too, considering that he has repeatedly referred to Green Day as “punk rock sellouts.”
 
Forgive me for saying so, but I’m pretty sure Green Day are still actively trying to take down the establishment, and aren’t playing besties with the capitalist leader of said establishment–so who’s the real sellout, hmm?
 
Anyway, IMO, it’s not a huge loss. The Sex Pistols weren’t that great to begin with.

I wouldn’t say it makes him a douchebag per say, but it is a very foolish thing for him to believe.
 
It should be obvious, especially by now, that Trump was a false prophet to the core. He’s not anti-establishment

Anyway, I’ve always had the mindset that the Sex Pistols were punk rock’s equivalent of a boy band: A group of young guys pulled together by a manager to sell stuff. If anyone tells you that the Sex Pistols were pioneers of punk and should be respected as such… just no. All they did was bring the punk subculture to the mainstream public by dropping the F-bomb on TV.
 
From what I understand, Lydon didn’t even like punk. He was a prog fanboy.

Well, in my own defense, I wasn’t the one who originally brought it up, someone else brought politics into this and I was just replying with an opinion of my own.

Anyone have any ideas as to what scale the yovidaphone uses? I think it’s something Myxolydian, and I tweeted at William Anderson to ask, but I figured I’d ask here, too.
