Only two more weeks until the Billboard tracking date for this year ends and then they can compile what were the 100 biggest hits of this year by mid-December.
@ILoveMyoozik
What’s interesting is that this is perhaps the year where Latino and to a lesser degree Korean music seems to have had bigger hits than English ones on YouTube views wise
Although for some reason English songs still dominate Streaming
Still can’t honestly say I’ve ever honestly heard a single K-pop song anywhere (besides “Gangnam Style”), or even anything by BTS–and they’ve apparently had four top 40 hits in the US.
So Billboard published their decade end list that shows what were the 100 biggest songs of this decade, and the number one song is Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson from 2015. Didn’t surprise me really that this song would get it, would be a toss up between this one, Happy, We Found Love, Despacito, Shape Of You or Old Town Road.
@Broken Adam
They broke up in 2015 because by the end, they were all very tired; plus, Mick Mars’ bone disease has been taking a toll on his guitar playing. You can tell all of this by how their final tour sounded. That said, Mick has apparently been getting treatments and Vince has been taking vocal lessons, judging by his performance on the new songs on The Dirt soundtrack, so a tour is now feasible.
All I Want For Christmas Is You is back on the chart as expected. Up next is Rockin Around The Christmas Tree and The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You) as per Billboard tradition.
Also it took until the end of the year but Alicia Keys is back on the Hot 100 like I knew she would.
