Sorry SOAD fans. Serj doesn’t feel like making another album anytime soon.

Alice’s set ended with the members of Halestorm joining him on stage to perform “School’s Out,” and then they went into the chorus from “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2).”

I had a dream that there was a version of Old Town Road done by Taylor Swift and, of all people… Aaron Carter.

It’s dumb that a song that’s currently getting popular, “My Type” by Saweetie, literally samples the entire beat of Freek-A-Leek by Petey Pablo without changing anything while plastering generic rap lyrics by a Cardi B wannabee.

Why the hell spotify always recommends covers in rock or metal of past songs, but not the original song themselves?

Decided to buy some Boston CDs after discovering “Foreplay/ Long Time”. Picked up two CDs for $10:
 
Boston: Greatest Hits, and  
Third Stage.
 
So far, “Cool The Engines” is my favourite.

Rock era Evanescence is never coming back, Amy is just not Into Rock anymore, and she seems to associate that era with a dark period of her life

I can’t choose one, but I do like Janis Joplin, Patti Smith, Joan Jett, Shirley Manson, Lzzy Hale and Amy Lee.

She’s really good. I saw her back in 2015 when she was opening for Foo Fighters.

As for my favorites, well, I like a lot of them but of the 2010s, Lzzy Hale is really good. Halestorm is legit one of the most refreshing rock bands of this decade, IMO.

Señorita is now number one. Congrats to Shawn Mendes for his first number one and Camilla for her second number one. I like this song better than their previous collab “I Know What You Did Last Summer”

Ann Wilson is honestly okay. She’s a good vocalist and Heart is a decent band, but she isn’t one of my favorites.

I’m mostly just surprised that Ann has it in her to still sing like that. I saw her at the same show with Joan Jett and Foo Fighters and she sounds amazing still.
 
Oh, would you consider Pat Benatar to be rock or pop? If the former, she’s definitely up there on my favorites.

Amy Lee has always been a fan of “Classical” Electronic and pop music, she even talked about how she felt the studios weren’t allowing her to do what she wanted back in the day

Mostly rock, her only pop songs that I can think of are Love Is A Battlefield and We Belong

One thing I find interesting is that while “Soft Rock”/Country Rock bands outsold Hard/Alt/Prog/Punk Rock bands back in the day they don’t seem as talked about , some even deny that they are Rock At All

Fair. It’s a shame that they dropped their signature sound, though.
 
And yeah, interesting. Depending on what artists you’re talking about, they may or may not be actual rock, though I do like some of them, like Elvis Costello.

Fair, yeah. Though she has always kind of walked the line between rock and pop, like on the “Get Nervous” album, where she went more synth-driven with her sound on songs like “Anxiety (Get Nervous),” “Little Too Late,” and “Shadows of the Night.”

Yeah some Soft Rock bands feel more like Country or Pop bands from a modern perspective, but it’s weird to how much the Eagles are hated despite having the best selling Rock Album of all time
