In 1974 Queen before they became widely famous, were booed and heckled at a music festival in Australia. Freddie Mercury told the audience:

“When we come back to Australia, we will be the biggest band in the world!”

They would return after debuting their smash hit Bohemian Rhapsody two years later.

I think “Time” by Pink Floyd legitimately has the most terrifying lyrics of any song ever.

Now that we’re almost reaching halfway through the year, I can say that this is definitely going to be the weirdest year for music for this decade. It’s now tied with 2013 as weirdest year for music of the 2010’s, but if it keeps up, then it’ll win that title.

I just found out that King Sombra’s character was heavily inspired from a song by Mastodon according to Jim Miller.

I’d be more optimistic about 2020s rock and metal if 2010s rock wasn’t such slim pickings that it might as well not exist. (Seriously, how the hell is Lovelytheband considered rock?)
