Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is due out in 2017 for PS4, Xbone and Steam.

How did Marvel vs Capcom 3 turn out? Never played it

Marvel 3 and Ultimate was fucking good.
 
But sadly Ultimate Marvel 3 never got any updates once it came out, fact it only got one.
 
And than after a while the game became to get more broken as it progressed, leading to really unfair things and just over all no one having a good time at the end because there was so much of the same things played in Competitive.
 
You had to literally sacrifice a baby lamb and hope to god someone, SOMEONE would pick a character Like Phoenix Wright eventually because no one did except a rare few and they rarely moves up in the brackets and some getting sent to losers pretty early on.
 
BUT WITH ULTIMATE COMING TO PS4 THAT SHOULD ALL CHANGE AND WE GET MORE FUCKING UPDATES NOW!

I forgot to add, gameplay will be shown TONIGHT at the Capcom Cup Grand Finals at 6pm pacific. I will link to videos of what gets shown as soon as I am able.
 
Also, according to Polygon, Captain America is in! (What a surprise)

Betting that the Marvel rep will be Captain America, considering what polygon said yesterday, who do you think the Capcom one will be? I’m hoping for my boy Dante.

Game Informer did an interview with Marvel and Capcom representatives about Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, they managed to shed some light on things like why assists are gone, the reasons behind the Infinity Stones being in the game, and they asked about the possibility of X-men and Fantastic Four characters due to the rumours that were going around last week, and Bill Rosemann, the Creative Director of Marvel Entertainment, said that “he wants to make sure fans of all Marvel Properties, including X-men, are happy.”
 
So there is a glimmer of hope that we will still have X-Men and Fantastic Four characters in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

God, I know this’ll never happen because I doubt Capcom even REMEMBER these guys but I hope somehow G-Red or someone from Gotcha Force does show up.
 
And it’d work too considering that the Gotcha Borgs have the ability to grow in size. So them being the size of a normal person would literally work.

No assists, only two characters on a squad? Sounds like it’s MvC in name only. I can see trading out X-factor for the infinity gem mechanic, but the rest is just change for its own sake, with a really shallow excuse regarding MvC3’s early days thrown out there in a sad attempt to justify gutting a huge chunk of the series’ signature gameplay.

Felicia and Haggar’s subplot from MvsC3 was great.
 
Now if they only paired Felicia with Deadpool it would be the ultimate gag team. (Felicia and King from Namco X Capcom were a laughfest.)

So they’re basically combining and expanding Marvel Super Heroes and X-men vs. Street Fighter / Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter.

Also Maximilian Dood did a very thourough gameplay breakdown and I think he’s figured out how many attack buttons this game might end up having.

I didn’t know that they were apparently just like, gutting Assist entirely! Holy shit!
 
I wonder how that’s going to feel. Having Assist is something I’ve been so used to in the Vs. games.
