Oh, yeah, I just saw him. I don’t mind him honestly.  
I have an odd theory that being basically Dracula’s “closest friend,” I wonder if that means later on He becomes Death. Especially, if you pay attention to the things he says.

I’m sure she’ll get her’s eventually, like the corrupt phony priest did, and such.  
Especially, considering what she became in the game canon.

Just found out that symphony of the night’s PS4 port change the dialogue.  
So no die monster you don’t belong in this world.  
Also it looks like rondo of blood wasn’t re-recorded to be in English either that or I just can’t find an English one

I had the weirdest experience with Castlevania SOTN years ago. The first time I played it the very first time I went through the Inverted Library I killed an enemy that dropped this sword that just murdered everything:  

 
At the time I didn’t realize I’d, through sheer dumb luck, just happened to easily get the most game-breakery weapon in video game history that has like a million-in-one drop rate XD

Shame they didn’t include it the original PS1 mini Classic. I don’t have a PS4.

Soooo… How ‘bout that upcoming “Castlevania Collection?” (For every system, including Switch.)
 
All 8 games have been confirmed.  
Castlevania. (1987, NES)  
Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest. (1988, NES)  
Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse. (1990. NES)  
Super Castlevania 4. (SNES, 1991)  
Castlevania Bloodlines. (Sega Genesis/Megadrive 1994)  
Castlevania the Adventure. (Gameboy 1989)  
Castlevania 2: Belmont’s Revenge. (Gameboy 1991)  
and Kid Dracula. (NES/Famicom 1990 Japan-only)
 
A li’l disapointing there’s none of the later Metroidvania-style games, but it’s nice to see a few games that have never been rereleased, (like the Sega game) or in Kid Dracula’s case, it’s first international release.  
Nice they’re not ignoring the portable/Gameboy games too, something alot of companies do. (Including Nintendo themselves…)

Was really hoping for “Adventure Rebirth” sadly looks like I was wrong.
 
As for not having the Metroid-vanias. I figured this would just be a collections of the side-scrolling style.  
Also, wonder how’d they do the DS ones, which are probably some of the best next to Aria of Sorrow and Symphony.
 
Never could get Ecclesia, I was lacking funds and time when it was released.

The Konami “Rebirth” games deserve a rerelease, as they’re very good.
 
I like the DS ones too, in fact, “Portrait of Ruin” is one of my favorites of the “Metroidvania” CV games. Not sure how they’d work on a single screen system though, they’d probably have to retool them a bit.
 
Still, it’s nice to have most of the straight-forward action sidescrolling ones together in one package.  
Still, it’s missing “Castlevania Legends” for Gameboy, the first one to feature a female hero. (Sonia Belmont.) Though, I recall, that game was taken out of canon.

Because we can’t have a female Belmont who possibly had an affair with Alucard it seems. That would’ve made Trevor 1/3 vampire.
 
Honestly though. She was one of the strongest in the Belmont line.

Well, I think it might be feasible for PoR and probably OoE, since they weren’t heavily touch-screen and the top was used just for the map probably due to using DoS’s engine.

Only problem with POR, is the unlockable Sisters mode’s controls would have to be changed, so that prevents them from making a direct port for current systems.
 
Ironically, the now dead WiiU would’ve been the best place to rerelease them, or perhaps the 3DS, but even that system is dying out in favor of the single-screen Switch system, which isn’t ideal for DS rereleases/ports.

Well, they didn’t say for sure that she did.  
Regardless, it would be nice to see the game again, as oftentimes the portable games don’t get as much love as the console ones.  
At least, “Belmont’s Revenge” is finally being rereleased.

Oh yeah… Forgot about that.

The N64 Castlevania games are underappreciated. They’re my favorite games in the series. I feel happy that they’re non-canon to the main timeline. Would be odd to have them take place in the same world as the Iga Zeldavania entries and Rondo. CV64/Legacy of Darkness should be its own universe, have its own timeline. It would be very sweet. :)

Castlevania rivals Mario/Zelda/FF in terms of memorable enemies. It has many classic movie/story monsters, obscure mythological beasts, Japanese folklore creatures, western folklore creatures, famed cryptids, and even some rather random ones, like the pocket-watch-carrying Time Wizard. (Which looks like the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.)

I checked what year did the game took place in and when the first motorbike was invented and the game was only off by 42 years

Really? I thought the game took place in the 1940s, so motorbikes would’ve existed by then.

I was just looking at Wikipedia and it said that Dracula was resurrected in 1852 so I assumed the game took place in that year.

I can’t remember if that’s talking about before the game, or when the game takes place honestly. I don’t have the game unfortunately.
 
I do know some like “Portrait of Ruin” (one of my favorites) do take place in the 20th century. Should’ve had motorcycle skeletons in that.  
At least, we get a bartender skeleton in PoR. “This one’s for you!”

I just got the season 1 blu ray and the optional cover you get by flipping a bit of paper is so much cooler than the one it’s sold with

Couldn’t find an actual picture of the Pal version but it’s only slightly different

Played “Castlevania Symphony of the Night” for the first time recently (on a family member’s PS4) and it’s nice to finally play the game that helped birth the Metroidvania genre. (Though, Simon’s Quest & some games did it previously, “Symphony” perfected said genre.)
 
It’s interesting how minor features in later installments of the CV series actually had to be earned originally in this game, like the ability to see enemy names, (when you attack them) which you can’t do until you get a certain item.

I know in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, they got the voice of Alucard as a character.
