Nearly every car I’m looking at has bad reviews on CarComplaints.com. So sad. Even the 2018 Subaru outback had dangerous stalling complaints

What about a lightly used Lexus from before they went crazy with the grill? They’re hardly enthusiast’s cars but are comfortable and built to last.

Yes, Lexus cars are essentially fancy Toyotas, which isn’t a bad thing.

Early 70s Camaro looked the best. I love the Charger in the 70s. Always looked sexy and stealthy

That’s cool. I like hearing that other women appreciate the car too. That being said, I do like some of the Corvettes as well.

My favorite muscle cars from the 1970s would be: Pontiac Firebird, Plymouth Barracuda, Plymouth Road Runner, Dodge Challenger, just to name a few.
 
I was going to add the Chevrolet Monte Carlo to that list, but I’m not sure that car qualifies as a muscle car.

I saw a Lamborghini Urus today and I have to say I was underwhelmed. It was surprisingly ordinary in appearance. You see a Huracan and you know it’s special. In all black, the Urus could pass for a much less exotic crossover. No V10 or 12 available at its price range is a little disappointing as well.
 
I was more impressed by a boat with two 425 horsepower outboard engines.

I saw an Urus the other day and I was absolutely surprised at how short it was. Rear visibility must be awful

I was looking at pictures of the Urus on Google, and it looks more like like a hatchback than an SUV.

Stylish SUVs are all horrible. BMW is the same way. The slope end and big pillars are insane

Lee was a visionary, creating both the pony car and the minivan. He will be missed.
 
Also according to Lee’s memoirs, that ending of the trailer is accurate - Henry Ford II was so frightened by his ride in the GT40 that he did start crying.

It’s been 2 weeks without a car. I spent the last 2 days test driving cars. I love the Subaru Outback, they’re real expensive. I test drove the Legacy instead. Love the AWD. Crosstrek is great, too. I drove a 2019 and it was “only” 28,000 bucks. I say “only” because they hold their value so well. Dealer guy said it’s almost cheaper to buy new since the APR is lower if bought new.
 
About the CVT: It’s not bad at all. Real smooth little car, Subaru has nice smooth acceleration. Nissan’s CVT is less natural feeling
 
I really want a sunroof but can’t find one at a good price/mileage. I also found a Toyota Rav4 and a Lexus RX350. the Lexus has AWD. The Lexus is amazing but I hate the navigation screen. Rav4 has good reliability (2013) but it’s been in a crash. Yikes. Still drove nice.

very funny. kinda cool to see there’s truth to the movie. American stories are sweet. and I’m a big fan of the minivan, so seeing the inventor die is real sad. I still want to visit that museum where the first Voyager is.

Seems like you’re set on getting an AWD crossover. Makes sense. The practical benefits are hard to deny and there are few well made and affordable cars with AWD.
 
I have a sunroof in my car and honestly I could do without it. The sunroof cuts into headroom and I have to close it whenever the sun is at an angle to shine into my eyes, which is often.
 
Is it only the navigation screen that’s bad in the Lexus? You can use your phone for navigation.

For the Lexus I’m talking about the entire radio and screen setup. The thing is only used with a cursor or the steering wheel buttons. It’s a nice SUV. Just set presents and go. 6 disk CD changer is cool. and only 16,500 bucks. 89k miles. The rav4 has 145000 miles but I think it will be reliable

Understandable. Infotainment is a weakness of Lexus.
 
Whatever you end up buying, be sure to test drive every vehicle you’re interested in. I regret not test driving more cars when I was shopping.
