On a more serious note, I can tell you what I look for when I read a cover letter for an applicant: reasons why he’s applying for the job, did he read-up on the firm at all, do his values match up with ours, has he got something that makes him stand out from the pile of other resumes and cover letters that I have on my desk. If I remember your name after the next coffee break, it’s a job half-way done.
 
Mind you, every country / sector / firm have their own codes when it comes to that stuff, if I were you I’d ask someone that works the same kind of job you’re going for.

Someone that spend too much time on something that they hate for sake it. Like writing how much they hate X thing and tell the world about. To be fair it’s just maybe short talk or venting once in the while, I am fine with it, in fact sometime I do it. But it’s all they do in their entire day, well they need a freaking hobby or just something productive on their free time.

The site looks so… empty when there’s no blue banner at the top of every page, informing me about spoilers or art events. There’s been at least one banner up there for two months straight (since the S9 finale leaked on August 25th).
 
Can you guys put something up there, anything, to fill the void? Just something like “have a nice day” or “Derpibooru premium badges now on sale” if there’s nothing else to announce?
