As I replied in the feature request thread, that’s a job which is currently being taken care of by conscientious users. They are doing a stellar job for the most part, and they learn significantly faster and with less expert guidance and maintenance than bots would require.

I do have a question, why don’t the staff include a badge for known users here in derpibooru who are known to commission/fund good pony art?
The same way the badges for donations to the website are a nice incentive way to people to give out those bits (I’ll totally get mine as soon as I can get an international credit card for my PayPal) It would be cool if derpibooru as such a holy place for pony art gave out this little incentive to the users who can’t draw but respect and love it just as much to the point to fund good quality art.

- It’d be incredibly rude and invasive to ask people how much money they spend on commissions (we are not going to do that)
- It’s generally considered bad taste to openly advertise how much money you spent on commissions
- Quantity-vs-quality would be a factor too - like imagine someone buys ten commissions at $10 a piece, while someone else buys one $100 commission, how would they weigh against each other?
- Not everything is obviously a commission, particularly commissions of canon characters.
