Princess Celestia suddenly appeared. She bucked Randomosaur in his teenage testes, and the smell of blood attracted a pack of Deinonychus.

I watched a couple episodes. It was okay Not as bad as Johnny Test, but nothing particularly memorable. The bad flash animation was a big turnoff for me. I know Chris Savino was one of the major writers of the show.

Silver changes color to black when it comes into contact with drugs containing arsenic.  
So her special talent must be detect/testing for poison.

The plot in portal1 is realy short, it is better explained in portal2.  
portal1: some AI of a testing area kills all people and you are the last survivor.  
portal2: Aperture Science was founded to develop different technologies, focused on the gels and portal gun. some accidents happend, they run out of money for tests, the founders daughters mind got transfered into the AI and got cracy -> portal1 story etc

It’s odd that most people who make arguments “jokingly” do so for points they sincerely believe, and only call it a joke when they’re put to the test and found to be faulty. In fact, it’s much like they “joke” retroactively whenever they’re called out on their falsehoods. Or present their beliefs as “jokes” so they can doublethink that they’re true in some sense while insincerely admitting they’re wrong whenever they’re called out on it.

Lets all take a moment to think how FiM would of been if the ones responsible for Johnny Test were behind it.

I’m not trying to slam Lightning Dust, nor am I saying that Spitfire made all the right decisions as a DI. I’m just looking at it as a third party that observed the incident.
 
I think the best way to determine the severity of the situation without being biased would be to distil the events down to simplest terms.
 
Who was in charge of the team?  
Lightning Dust.
 
Did Lightning Dust and Rainbow Dash create a tornado that neither one was able to control?  
Yes.
 
What was the reason for creating the tornado?  
To eliminate more targets (clouds) than the other trainees.
 
Was the tornado necessary to accomplish the mission?  
No.
 
Did it endanger the lives of other ponies?  
Yes.
 
Did Rainbow Dash follow the orders given to her despite the potential dangers?  
Yes.
 
Who placed Lightning Dust as Lead Pony?  
DI Spitfire.
 
Did Lightning Dust show a pattern of recklessness in prior tests?  
Yes.
 
Who was the instructor in charge?  
DI Spitfire.
 
Were actions taken to correct the reckless behavior?  
No.
 
Lightning Dust made a mistake. So did Rainbow Dash and Spitfire. Technically, they all should’ve been in trouble, with Spitfire taking the most heat and Rainbow the least (due to leadership positions) That doesn’t mean that any of them are scumbags that never deserve another chance.
 
That being said, I really think that the 22 minute limit was a major part in how they portrayed her character traits, the scenarios, and the punishment for her actions. Normally something like this could take weeks to clear up.

Lyra: “Hey, Bonbon. If I eat something, does that mean poop will come out of your mouth?”

Twilight’s song was about a test and Rainbow’s song was about finding a pet.  
We can sing a song about baking , and it can still be enjoyable.

F-35 isn’t even in service yet. It’s still undergoing flight testing. It was originally supposed to be in service around this time.

I already finished school, but I have music classes. Had my final test this Monday, no biggie.

Finals never bothered me, just got really annoying when everyone else freaked out or the teachers making a sizable deal about their about the test.

the problem with you Dusty is that you push yourself too hard. You aren’t aware of your own limits. I knew someone like that once and I can tell you it’s not a good way to be.
 
It’s good to push yourself to your absolute limit but you go too far you’ll mess up. Like you did.

Twilight was only insane in lesson zero, the other times it has been for actually good reasons. Like having Celestia summon her for a test.
 
That’s called character development, she’s acting less bitchy, with that episode being a prime example. She couldn’t rightly get in past those logs when she didn’t know where lightning was going to be relative to her. It was Lightning’s poor leadership skills that are to be blamed.
 
Pinkie did cry, right when she went all flat haired.
 
About Fluttershy, these episodes aren’t truly meant to be viewed in succession. They might be out of line in terms of timeline placement. I’m sure there was an episode in S2 where Rarity was talking about the Gala, despite the fact that at that point in time (relative to other episodes) it was nearly a year away. It’s more likely that that episode took place before the end of season one, and Stare Master most likely took place after Putting Your Hoof down.
 
Rarity most likely appeared that way through Spike’s eyes. He most likely exaggerated how she looked at that moment in Secret of My Excess.
 
People think AJ is boring because she has not character flaws it seems. But she was the first one to over come them, as seen in Super Speedy Cider Squeezy compare to Apple Bucking Season(I think, not sure).
 
And Merriweather wrote Heart’s Warming Eve, IIRC. So that’s one thing going for her, along with Wonderbolts Academy.
