I think the thing to remember is to trust half of what you see and none of what you hear. The government and media can and does downplay this thing when it’s convenient to them just as much as they overstate it when it suits their agenda. They lied to us and told us not to wear masks back in March. I’m not saying that nothing that they say is true. I’m very pro-science and anti-paranoia/hysteria. I’m just saying that it’s obvious that they selectively choose what to present to the public based on their agenda and their profit motives, and that it’s best not to be partisan or blindly follow any one person or news outlet’s advice. That goes for the people I like, too. I don’t blindly do everything Canadian Prepper says. There’s a lot I actually disagree with him on, but you can disagree with certain things a person says and still have respect for their general message or what it is they’re trying to do.
 
We should be working together to express our views, why we believe them, and be open to trying to understand why other people believe what they believe instead of labeling them all as mad orange man supporters.

Honestly, I’m pro mask, but social distancing at least 6-12 feet will protect you more than a surgical mask or other basic face covering. Even then, that only reduces your risk so much, because this thing is somewhat airborne. If you’re gonna wear a mask you should wear at least an n95 or a cotton blend mask with multiple layers, wash your cloth masks and take care of them, have multiples you can switch between so germs don’t build up and contaminate you. And whatever it is you wear, wear it right. Otherwise what’s the point? Canadian prepper just uploaded a pretty good video talking about masks.
 
Personally, I wear a full face respirator and a buddy of mine has a half face. They’re fun and actually will certainly protect you if used properly.

I don’t think Starlight really understood the world around her. Like, I don’t think she really knew she wasn’t a victim. Even though she wasn’t, she thought/felt she was. There’s an uncomfortable truth in there that says you have to respect someone and get them help when they’re like that. It’s a little weak/hard to believe that she went apeshit over losing Sunburst, but that’s what happened. (Along with who knows what?)
 
Sometimes people/ponies have something deep within that they don’t understand and it affects them in ways that don’t make sense to the rest of us. Even if it’s nonsensical and pretty dumb, the person/pony is still suffering. :/

Today I watched a woman who works at little Caesar’s today with no mask pick her nose 4 times, drop her water bottle, and then a guy a few feet from her picked her water bottle up and handed it to her, then rubbed his eyes.

When are we going to get massive protests and riots over the injustice to the trans community? The Trump administration just reversed the law protecting trans people from healthcare discrimination. I’m going to go protest by myself I guess… Anyone puts a fucking hand on me and I’m going to curb stomp them.
