Yeah, Round Stable literally has an “off site rule” where they can ban you for things you do on other sites. That alone should speak volumes about them.
 
During my short stay there, I had someone google my name, look my FIMFiction account, and then throw a shitfit and cry at me to “stop shitting on their fandom”. And even when I HINTED at the fact that I write porn (I just said “the things I write”), the mods deleted my post and issued me a warning. And later on, banned me because one of my clopfics included underage characters, citing their “off-site rule”.
 
Hell, even SFW shipping images are banned on their forums. If you post any image, even completely SFW, that depicts characters engaging in any kind of romantic action, mods will delete the post.
 
Really wish they’d stop acting like they’re the curators of the fandom, but what can you expect from a site that spawned from SomethingAwful?

Er, using “girl cartoon” to excuse bad writing…kinda goes against what FIM stood for in the first place: that “girl cartoons” don’t have to be bad just because they’re for girls. I hold FIM to the same standards as I would any other media.
 
Even so, I’ve not really met many who are “hyper critical” of it. But from what I’ve seen and experienced, simply disliking an episode will count as “hyper criticism”, to some…
 

 
And again, I don’t think “raging idiot who harshly criticizes and hates everything” is a “typical brony”. Especially after seeing places like EQD where everyone loves everything and criticism is shunned.

I’m not sure how a character that angrily hates things is “lovingly poking fun”.

The synopsis kinda sounds like this new character is going to be a strawman of critics that harshly criticizes even the smallest perceived ‘issues’. :/

I didn’t answer the second part because judging by your disposition, you’d give a negative/insulting response no matter what I answered with. That and I don’t feel the need to prove my worthiness to a random BP on Derpibooru.
 
And it’s not a strawman, seeing as you’re assuming I hate the episode because I’m not gushing about how much I absolutely loved it. That, just because I criticized it (calling it “cliche”) that I didn’t like it.

“Cliche, but not too bad” is an “I liked it” out of 10. I don’t use number scales for subjective opinions.
 
You need to learn that just because someone criticizes something, doesn’t mean they hate it.
