Yeah, it really would be a beast to tackle. Though at least some of the pictures used are used more than once, so it's not quite as many pictures as one might think at first glance.
If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for comments with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, comments containing the words
spread wings would all be found by a search for
sewing would not be.
