It’s not exactly to find the best app, is to learn how to use it. But don’t fear to share your stuff here, including backstories, and also you can find persons that are willing to help, there’s no minimum of “quality” here.

I have came up with some more ocs, if anyone would like to hear them.

Hmm, well, when I created this thread the purpose was to post OCs related to MLP, but I guess it won’t be harmful to share other kind of OCs, in fact in the first page I don’t say anything against it. So yes, I think you can share it.

Strawberry Slices: A blind unicorn, who is very skilled with swords and other sharp objects, who sends her time at a restaurant making fruit desserts.
 
Sha’mane: A Zebra unicorn, who is a necromancer, and works on dealing with the dead. Carries around a crystal necklace that contains the soul of her husband. Also has a zombie companion with her, who can still mostly act like a normal pony.
 
Glamour Glitz: An alicorn actress. Famous actress that has appared in a lot of drama and romance movies and TV. Hates that she seems to only be type casted in these types of genres (she wanted to be an action hero when she was a filly), and also hates that because she is often playing a bitch in her works, other ponies think that she is a bitch in real life, even though she is quite friendly, and also secretly a massive nerd.
 
Indigo Flare and Blue Quilt: A straight couple, with Indigo being a tomboy Pegasus mare, and Quilt being an earth pony stallion. Indigo is a punk artist, who always finds new ways to make art, and does a lot of graffiti. Quilt is more shy, and has a talent for knitting and stitching, often making new clothes

Leaving that aside, the characters are curious, and also I find interesting that you have a Zebra as an OC, there’s not so many that have them. Maybe the most interesting character of those in my opinion is Glamour Glitz, she seems to have more development and depth.

(She can use her magic to “see” the world. Creates like outlines of things, tr and think of it like Daredevil’s powers. Also, based her of that old “blind swordsman” trope)

As I also posted in the Artist’s Group Chat thread, yesterday I finished this gift for a friend of mine: I think it received overall a good approbation. It was easier than what I expected it to be.

Oh man. Nothing is worse than when you want to change an OC’s name but the name you want to use is already given to a very popular character in the fandom. So it’s like…you can’t make a new super hero and call him Batman. There’s already a Batman you fool!
 
But anyway, I have this oc named Puzzlemint. I do like that name but I’ve been keeping an eye out for better options. A name that has a “I like to do experiments over a bleak cauldron” kind of feel, but not in a grim way. So I figured a poisonous flower could work. Like a potion ingredient. Oleander was perfect! Until I realized that’s the name of the unicorn from Them’s Figtin Herds.
 
So yeah. Naming OCs can be a pain. Could any of you guys have some catchy suggestions? I’m all ears.

Well, I did a bit of looking into poisonous plants when making this pic:
 

 
Some of the plant names stuck with me. Baneberry is nice and alliterative, but might be a bit sinister sounding :V
 
Moonseed, Celandine, and Hazelwort also vaguely sound like they could be used as names.
 
^{Or you could go with a less subtle name and call her “suicide tree” or something :P

Although I don’t really have problem that OC have same name as my OC, but her color scheme is bother me the most, my eyes could burn for staring at her for too long

I can’t believe suicide tree and destroying angel are actual names people unanimously chose lol. Celandine is cute. So is Moonseed though I think Celandine is better because it kinda sounds like a human name.

You’ve given me…a workable idea. Perhaps. Maybe if I put a word in front of or behind Oleander, it could take some of the heat off. Like mirroring a video to avoid copyright XD.
 
Oleander Mint,Minty Oleander,Blue Oleander, Oleander Leaf, Oleander Seed,Oleander Moss, or Mossy Oleander. Oy vey this could go into infinity.

These are all good OCs in my opinion.Pretty basic ideas but a lot of interesting things can be done with them. I guess the most hum drum of the group could be the couple. But to me they sound totally adorable together.
