I was planing to let it go and not write anymore critical analyses here, but I take issue with you in particular saying that my comment must not have been fair and valid to receive this duck badge, and I don’t recall the artist specifically stating that critiques weren’t welcome at the time.
You’re going to have to prove that the removed comment that granted me this duck badge wasn’t a fair and or valid critique if you’re publicly accusing me of writing unfair critiques. I think its a complete lie that critiques are very much welcome here as that has not been my experience at all. In fact, I don’t think i’ve ever seen an in-depth critique on derpibooru ever (besides my own). If you could show me a single critique anywhere on this site that was as in-depth as the one that was unfairly censored, I will be genuinely surprised and concede. Especially since the critique that was removed was almost as long and in-depth as the Deviant Art critique here.
You say Stooped_hooy’s comment could take this thread downhill but nobody had even commented here for it to go downhill in the first place. This is absurd and totally runs counter to your claim that critique and discussion are “very much welcome here”. I really don’t appreciate still being slandered well after an event has passed, whilst staff use their moderator privileges to censor differing opinions without even reading them properly. This place is too much of a censorship landmine to “welcome critiques”, i’m sorry.
