Is digestion vore bad?

I know that may seem like a bad topic to bring up, but since the comments are not for people like me, I’m coming here. I’ve said my peace about it more times than can be counted, but now I want to know what you guys think.
 
Is digestion vore bad, like for the community? How can a community created around a show about love and friendship condone the creation of such gory and unhumane imagery?

Yet, they still make it in droves. I to once made some, but I learned how bad it was and separated myself from it as much as possible.

I think it really matters on how well the individual can separate fantasy from reality.
 
There are games, books, movies, that involve killing or other “evil” actions. And people enjoy them. Artwork is just another medium.
 
Even if it’s “Evil”, as long as someone isn’t actually trying to do it in reality, or advocating for it in reality. Then it’s a matter of fantasy. And up to the individual to judge how well they’re able to separate the two.
 
Some people are empathetic enough that seeing fantasy suffering affects them in reality. So they may choose to distance themselves from that content.

Unless it’s clear the “type of vore” going on in the image is of the non-lethal kind, then obviously the action going on in the image, and the acting character, is almost certainly pretty fucking god damned evil.
 
As for whether liking vore is evil or whether it has a poisonous effect on the community as a whole, well… I just filter it and leave my opinions to myself…

It ain’t bad for the community. If it was, why would we still be drawing/writing stuff involving it?  
Boils down to a single fact, it gets our rocks off, to be turned into nothing but food 100%  
Digestion included.  
From a moral standpoint? Stomach murder.  
But from a fetish standpoint? Sometimes its what a person likes. Some folks like to go the whole nine yards, nom, digest, and being dumped.  
While others prefer it to be safe, happily existing within a pred’s organic, gastric chamber.  
All in all, its a preference, that’s all.
 
And Again, if it was harmful to the community, we wouldn’t be drawing it.

Go ahead and re-scope the question to… hmmm… literally every community there is for anything, I’m pretty sure.  
Including shows such as:  
-Literally every generation of MLP  
-Care Bears  
-Rugrats  
-Steven Universe  

I’m on board with this guy, we should ban death in vore fetishism, just isn’t healthy.
 
It’s alright literally anywhere else, rape/snuff/edgy murder fetishism, it just fits thematically really.

So true. One of the conditions of creating a rule is that it has to be something that can be reasonably enforced.

What is bad or good is subjective and depends on how you look at it and your situation.  
For example if you love this kind of stuff, search for it and get off to it then it’s definitely good for you.  
If someone like your parents or work buddies see you watching this kind of fetish then it may end up not entirely good for you to some extent.  
If you are an artist making it then it gets even more complicated as you are facing both of them - people who hate you for what you draw and people who wish to see more of that.  
There are also people who don’t care much at all and don’t see everything in black/white or good/bad.
