In a time long after the age of hunters, it’s modern day, with very little of the wilds undeveloped outside reserves for the ancient beasts that once built the human’s place in the world. Hunting is now outlawed, as are the weapons once used for them, and the Guild has long since relegated itself to more of an agricultural regulator. But this human dominance was never meant to last.
The spirits of these beasts are restless. They can be contained no longer. And it will take the power of several seemingly unconnected youths, taking the power of these sealed beasts, to stop them for good.
The talking cats told them so.

I want to insert a trickster character at some point in Eight-Layer Inferno, but I’m not sure which one to use.
I feel like Puck would be too cliché, Loki would draw too many comparisons to Marvel (intentional or not), and using Coyote might be offensive to native people and their mythology unless I pay extra care to how I do it.
Any thoughts of trickster characters I could possibly use for this task?

For those who don’t, someone makes a chart that has something “happen” to you based on the day you were born. Usually, but not always, the scenario is based on the month and the character that it happens with depends on the day, but it’s not always like that.
Well, sometimes the creators of fictional characters give them birthdays, as well. I’ve run some anime characters’ birthdays through some of the earliest-uploaded birthday games on the site. Some of the results might inspire some fun, cute, or whatever fanworks.
