How would a non-unicorn pony use a gun?

I’ve been thinking of starting a new ask blog involving darker themes. Does anyone know about how a pony would hold a gun without using magic, and that’s still somewhat practical and believable? I.e. not somehow holding a normal gun with a single hoof.
 
An example image would be great, but I can still use a concept.

In Fallout Equestria, non-unicorn ponies hold guns in their mouths, or via specialized saddles designed to hold them. Other races like griffins use their hands like humans would.

I could see a bat pony using the claws on its wings to pull the trigger as well as keep the gun steady. For all other ponies that aren’t unicorn or bat ponies, they probably have guns with big ass triggers, or just tie some string around the trigger and their hoof, and just do that.

Imagine a pip boy. Now imagine it as a gun strapped to the pony leg. Only i suggest making it a magic/lazer weapon. No bullets.

Sorry if what I’m doing is considered necroing but I wanted to make a small discussion about ponies using guns. I’ve sort of dipped my pinkie toe back into FO:E but it seems that the only creatures who can actually use a gun are griffons and unicorns. Pegasi must use a battle saddle and the whole mouth trigger thing…seems implausible at best. Don’t guns have recoil?
 
So I just want to know if anyone of you fine artists out there have drawn a pony friendly gun? Or just edited a human gun to make it pony friendly. Like with a bigger trigger so a hoof can reach it easily. I’d like to see that drawn. Or any gun design people can think of.

And the recoil is from the bullet being fired, so in battlesaddles it would come from behind the mouth.
