Artists you miss.

I miss Jessy, it’s been a while since the last drawing that she published and I loved how expressive and cute her art style was. I wish someday she returns, almost all the pictures of the first page are edits…

not sure if she was an artist per se, but midnight ruby apparently passed away earlier today from undisclosed causes. in any case, she definitely had a lot of friends in the artist community and you can see lots of pics of her oc here on derpibooru. what’s really surreal is that she actually left a comment earlier today and now she’s gone. life can be a strange and morbid thing.

Pikapetey is still active on Twitter at least, and I think he’s still occasionally doing some art (though that animation project he teased a few years ago ended up falling through), but I haven’t seen him around here in quite some time.

There is cure. It is called marihuana. There are studies that claims that marihuana cures depression.

Marihuana isn’t that wonder drug that simply can heal every disease known to mankind. I believe it can be used as treatment for a lot of things, in various forms, including oils, lotions and even pills made out of it. But it isn’t some magical healing drug that just cures depression, cancer and blindness by smoking it. It’s a bit more complex than that.  
It also can be used for textiles, and other cool stuff, and frankly it should not be illegal, and it shouldn’t be criminalized that harshly.

I know from experience that cannabis doesn’t cure depression. At least not all the time…I won’t say it never has because I don’t know.

Yeah, I see too many cannabis users act like it is a cure-all. Which is just nonsense. Sure, it does a lot of wonderful things for those suffering from things like PTSD or chronic pain. But it doesn’t work for everything or everyone.

I dunno if it was mentioned but I really miss the artist who did the Hot Blooded Pinkie tumblr, and whoever did the Muted blog with a mute Vinyl. Great artstyles but I think they moved on.
