Maybe implement a system where artists can put in how many requests they’re willing to do and then allow users to apply for a slot by clicking them, like on a poll? Disable selecting an artist once their slots are full and allow artists the final say as to whether or not they’ll take a specific request?  
That way, people could see who still has slots open and everyone could only have one pending request.

Im not really that assertive to just go out and claim something like that. I’d rather the requester mention who’d they like to do their OC. Though that’s probably mainly due to me having a lack of confidence in stuff I draw (But I’m trying to change that).

I think a thread would be a good idea. It might even deter the people who have been going around asking multiple artists just to get themselves free art, because then everyone would be able see them doing it. They’d have to be very dumb or have some stones to do that in a public thread.

Right now I’m just updating a list I made on my profile with people I’ve done and working on.

If any volunteer has been requested to draw|| oc:kervin ||, please cancel the persons request as it has nothing to do with the 2019 collab.

Hmmmm, I am not sure how to say it. But well after I announce on my DA about the 2019 collab and how I am willing to accept request from my fan on DA, this guy request me to draw his oc, but he wasn’t aware that reason why I am open the request is for people to participating in the event, though most of the request that I got is from the people that want to participant, but looks like this guy take advantage of event to get a free pic of his ocs. I guess I am going to not draw the request.

For that particular OC, please don’t. Me and Dragonpone spoke with him, giving him the benefit of the doubt and he just kept going regardless. I had thought after Joey got involved we wouldn’t hear from him again during this event, but it completely slipped my mind he could use his Deviantart account to request more.

We can only hope that other artists taking requests through DA will at least be checking this thread and see that he’s just planning on using them.
