and forgot that she’s unusually tall. About half a head taller than Celestia. Will this be taken into account, or does it matter?

Probably won’t be taken into account. My own oc is a tiny taller than yours then, yet on the last collab he was regular sized.
 
Take it as an artistic liberty so more OCs can be placed more comfortably on the image ;)

She was supposed to be about the same height as Fleur de Lis, but was born with gigantism.
