Can’t help but think of Scuttle from The Little Mermaid…
A “grapevine” is a metaphor for scuttlebutt. :T
Where did the “heard it on the grapevine” term come from? Grapevines (if they’re real) don’t talk.
Mm. I suppose since you heard his statement, and I heard it from the grapevine, yours may be more accurate. X3
That’s not what I read years ago on his blog site. Maybe it’s a mixture of both situations.
Can’t help but think of the Chipmunks…the GOOD animated ones, that is. Not the live-action crap.
I heard the reason was college. I hate scuttlebutt, so I don’t care too much. ^_^
I’m surprised at the fact Alvin is returning to his roots with SMBZ. I thought he finally quit beacuse so many people were giving him hassle over the next episode and being very rude.
Not a fan of unfinished stories either.
Well… You’re right. lol
Super Mario Bros. Z was one of the most popular fan made Flash series’ last decade. It was announced recently its creator Alvin-Earthworm is currently in the process of remaking it beginning with episode 1.
The overview is Sonic and Shadow, in pursuit of the Chaos Emeralds and Super Mecha Sonic, follow both using a cross dimensional teleporter ending up in the Mushroom Kingdom. Along side Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Professor Elvin Gadd, Sonic and Shadow search for the Emeralds, meanwhile getting into fights against the Koopa Bros., the Axem Rangers X, and Super Mecha Sonic himself.
The series ended in the mid-2000s with the clash between Mario’s party and Bowser’s Koopa Karrier, obviously named after its creator’s previous invention, the Egg Carrier. Eggman’s silhouette is clearly visible throughout the last Episode 8.
Some time ago, Alvin released an unfinished Episode 9. Shadow prepared to fight Super Mecha Sonic and Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Sonic were still in the middle of raiding the Koopa Karrier.
The remake is being made to include Alvin’s vastly improved Flash editing prowess. There were things in the original series he thought could be improved, and so… ;3
Oh…not a big fan of fan-made games. They throw in swears and violence that wouldn’t pass in an E-rated game.
It’s a Flash.
Mario Z? Never heard of that game.
I find I like Shadow more in Mario Z than I do in Sonic games. XD
I still prefer these two over their dark counterparts.
No clue, but at the least Shadow has far more characterization than Dark Pit. :j
Geez, what’s with peoples’ loving of negative-speaking emos?
They said that about “Dark Pit” too, but decided to make ‘em separate sense Dark Pit had different weapons. (I think it would’ve been cool if they had alternate costumes for certain characters, like giving Bowser a “Dry Bowser” costume, giving Sonic a “Metal Sonic” costume, and Pac Man a “Mrs. Pac Man” costume. I liked how you could switch Bowser Jr. with the Koopalings though.)
Yeah, I agree, the FLUDD was only handy in “Sunshine.” (Probably one of the more underrated Mario 3D games.)
I think they were at one point with having Dr. Mario be one of Mario’s alternate costumes.
Unless I’m using it in Super Mario Sunshine, I can’t use FLUDD to save my life in Smash.
To bad they don’t let you customize it with Mario tornado.
And yeah, some people have managed to master the FLUDD, but I can’t. lol
This is why my standard set for Mario in SSB4 has his Down + B set at Scalding FLUDD.
@SuperDEF
Whoa! I guess we’re underestimating FLUDD’s capabilities.
One word: Saltwater
Yeah, that’s what I meant. I know some fans hate “clone characters,” but I kinda liked having Dr. Mario return. (Also means we’ll get an Amiibo of him.) Plus, I kinda prefer his “Tornado” B+Down move over the practically-useless FLUDD move normal Mario has.
(I liked Mario Sunshine, but I feel they should’ve just made the FLUDD an item or something instead. Plus turning the “tornado” move into a mid-air attack, makes you unable to use it near ground.)
