Changeling are so cute and I wish they were real.

huh. i kinda thought they would be almost hard as stone ,but still retain some warmth. i also like to think that they sometimes use the holes in there bodies for storing small things, scrolls, gems, ect, and sometimes they let small pets rest inside the holes

That about sums up a great story! It would make sense for another creature to want to display affection. I also believe they would snuggle on the couch too.

My personal idea is that he found these three out starving and freezing. He took them home out of pity. They were suspicious at first, but got to like him enough to regard the kid as a member of their new swarm.
 
So they decided to treat him like a member of the swarm. Which included things like sleeping together to display affection and trust. Of course he didn’t know this until one night he awoke to find three Changelings burrowing under the covers.

I have said this as well like with the changeling at the wedding there could be defectors also she might only order the changelings only when she has direct need to use them like during the attack of canterlot but when she isn’t directly commanding them she just lets them do whatever and make their own choices.
 
I like the idea of the changelings being more free willed rather than a hive mind.
 
I would still like to see Chrysalis reformed as well though.

To me, there’s a difference between “the bad guys” and flat-out “evil”. Pretty much anyone who opposes the protagonists is “the bad guy” I think, but that doesn’t mean their evil or even a bad person. I don’t even think the show gave enough evidence to even say if they as a whole are bad or good, so we’ve each made our own headcanons and are now having fun sharing them, which I like. It would be really cool if they were evil as a whole, like with say the Fire Nation from Avatar, where they’re a threat and their leaders are bad, but their kind as a whole can be anything.
 
Personally, I’d like to see an episode that put like one main character and one changeling together in a survival scenario (ever see Enemy Mine? Like that) and not directly say anything about their morality but rather just show it and let the audience draw their own conclusions. I like them best with an air of mystery.

While it probably was a joke, since the show is fairly heavy on reformation and redemption like with Luna and Discord, I don’t think the writers would have even put that in as a joke unless they wanted to at least set up the possibility that changelings could be good.
