Description

“After Rainbow Dash proceeded to destroy the statue to break Pinkie of her creepy infatuation (and now currently resides in Griffonstone Penitentiary for destruction of public property); Pinkie decided to seek out the imprisoned Tirek, making a deal to free him in exchange for turning her into a griffin. Unfortunately, Pinkie failed to realize that King Grover is long dead and now Tirek rules Equestria.

Whoops.”

You can blame Jeffery Katzenberg for the “Die Hard/Call of Cthulu-inspired ending in which Ariel gets rewarded for doing nothing” [<I hate typing that, ‘cause she is my fav Disney heroine :(]

And I’m not kidding about Die Hard. He literally instructed the directors to make it more like “Die Hard” XD

Yeah, but that’s quickly forgotten about. The film could’ve played off of the possible guilt and shame Ariel felt for endangering her home, friends, and family after the big fight scene. Instead, she’s seen fawning over Eric, and she gets rewarded there.

Here’s hoping Pinkie shows some onscreen guilt and/or shame and makes up for her mistake…which is more than I can say for you, Ariel. Sorry.
