I don’t agree. This site has a “context is for the weak” tag and an “out of context” tag. Looking at how the tags are used, it seems that even though they are basically the same thing, they have very different uses. People are using “context is for the weak” for things that are nonsense in a funny way, such as how it is in this gif, where Lofty is randomly flying to the ceiling to paint a single line. With no context, that’s pretty weird, why is she doing that? With no extra video to show if she continues to paint the ceiling, we can only wonder about what she’s doing. Therefore, I believe the tag applies.
Or, when context would explain what looks a little questionable otherwise… >>299478

That is not correct, the “out of context” tag is what’s used for the more questionable material, which does not apply here.

But this is exactly what it looks like. Wings make painting the ceiling easy. It’s funny, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not what it looks like. Yanking that tag already.

The appropriate use of that tag is when something is taken out of context, and all original meaning is lost, so that nothing about the image/gif makes sense. Commonly paired with the “wat” tag, though they are not mutually inclusive.
