Though what’s really weird is that Moondancer’s sister is the older one so in this scenario their parents would’ve probably had to have planned to like the 2nd child more.

In terms of demographics, I’d have to say that Cloudsdale gets a free pass for obvious reasons.
I think that was to show that Canterlot has differing demographics from Ponyville. I mean Ponyville’s diversity has been previously established as unique or at least more noticeable than that of other towns.
Don’t forget the alicorn princess (which…is she still technically a unicorn?)
