That was a misunderstanding based on the title of the French release for Rainbow Rocks.
It was Called Equestria Academy, after the popular French reality series Star Academy.
Weren’t they going to be making one of those? Some kind of French release or something…
I’m surprised there’s not one yet, with how popular the webisode format is for fashion doll lines these days, even if most are piggy-backing off mattel’s success.
Exaclty! I’m hoping for a web series like Ever After High has.
The nice thing about that is they’ll be able to tell more EqG stories without being tied down by FiM’s continuity. Makes me wonder what else they have planned for this side of the mirror.

Exactly. The EG world is almost its own universe, and Human Twilight is replacing Pony Twilight.
Her involvement was lesser in RR than in the first movie. RR seemed to be more focused towards Sunset than it was on Twilight.
I mean, like, make it more a spinoff and a seperate universe. Pony Twilight isn’t going to be in this movie, for starters. At least, she won’t cross through the portal.
But this is supposed to be MLP regardless.
I would guess, in order:
A yellow lightning bolt and two yellow drops.
Some kind of maroon berry and two maroon streaks.
A trio of cherries.
I can’t guess.
A Repeat notation with light blue dots and a dark blue bar.
Someone theorized that they’re trying to make Equestria Girls not as attached to the main sound.
They’ve made pony forms for the Dazzlings. But not these girls…
Indigo’s is a flower and lightning bolt.
Sugarcoat’s is a sparkler thing.
Sour Sweet’s is a diamond with a heart in it.
Lemon Zest’s is a lemon slice.
Sunny’s is a pink raincloud in front of a pink sun.
According to the toys, at least.
At this rate we should soon expect titles like: Equestria Girls Ultimate vs the Legion of Malice.
1st movie: Sunset Shimmer.
2nd? The Dazzlings.

The rate of EqG “Bad Girls” seem to be rising exponentially.
