Yeah they did. They intended the land to be a backdrop in case the dynasty fell. But when the Russians expanded there, they were forced to forfeit the eastern half of Manchuria to Russia through the Treaty if Aigun. Vladivostok was once a Chinese city under the Qing.

Most Han Chinese who live in Manchuria descended from migrants from the Shandong province in the ninteenth century. Until the 19th century, the Qing Dynasty strictly forbade Han Chinese, except those who were part of the Eight Banners which consisted of Manchus, Mongols, and other minorities in Northeast China, from settling in Manchuria. That was until the Russian Empire started to expand eastwards and the Qing government had to find some way to assert their influence in the region by allowing ordinary Han Chinese who were previously forbidden from living there to settle.

Isn’t Shenyang in Manchuria ? Do you think you have Manchu blood?

I’m also northern Chinese by descent through my dad’s side. Grandparents were from Shandong and Henan province before the communist takeover. My mom was from Kaoshiung area in Taiwan.

Oh man! I always mixed up between Chinese and Taiwanese.
No offense, the major difference is more about nationality, Taiwanese are actually (according to history) are Chinese whom fled from the mainland after the civil war in the mid-20th century. Some even lived in Taiwan long before that.
We practical speak the same language and look the same. No offense.

I’m was born in America, my mother is from Guangdong (Canton) and my father is from Shenyang in the north, since each of parents are in separate regions, cultures and food are different, but me and my sister and brother get the chance to experience both sides firsthand.

Shang Dynasty man!
A time long before Confucius or even Laozi. Human and animal sacrifices were heavily practiced during the Shang Dynasty. Daji, whom you may know from Warriors Orochi games, was allegedly the favourite concubine of the last Shang Dynasty king. She was blamed for the fall of the Shang Dynasty, the king was so infactauted with her that he’d do anything just to please her. She was manipulative and the king made so many foolish decisions.

I believe so, in Chinese mythology, the Chinese people were created from the mud of the Yellow River.
And traditional Chinese whom believe in nature.

Chinese pony can be ‘mystical’ too, they practice alchemy and herbology.

I think these Yaks are Kashmir/Tibetan themed.

I think Mongols should be pegasi. They worship the Eternal Blue Sky, blue is a sacred colour, and pegasi have been shown to be able to move entire cloud cities such as Cloudsdale which perfectly fits nomadic lifestyle.
