She has some sadistic sounding lines yes, but that not really the same as psychopathic.  
When they are said together it’s with the two word separate for a reason.

There are a couple examples, but I’ll opt for a non-spoilery one:  
Naturally, you know already that the Sisters deliver commentary on the maps presently in the rotation, ranging from “humorous” to actually kind of helpful. One such commentary, for Blackbelly Skatepark, has Callie begin with “Palm trees! Awww, now I want ice cream.”  
Marie’s response, without missing a beat: “Mmmmm. With a slice of octo pie!”  
Now, you could shrug this off as the game making its silly sea-creature puns…until you remember the Octarians, another living, sentient species that you see quite often. And even if they are mortal enemies with the Inklings, I find there to be something inherently mentally unsound about enjoying eating another sentient race.

I’m not seeing anything from Marie that seems psychopathic to me.

More or less. They both can be pretty psychotic at times, but the presentation is pretty radically different. Marie is pretty open and nonchalant about her own sadistic tendencies, whereas Fluttershy would really only ever go berserk when dramatically provoked.
 
That said, you could convince me that Spitfire would make a good Marie.

Don’t think so, Marie is kind of a deadpan snarker at time, Shy could never really do that.

I think that would look better on Fluttershy.
