The downvote option is really just for truly bad artwork, or for stuff that doesn’t belong on the site. It’s less of a dislike and more of a “this doesn’t belong here”. If you dislike something, you search for the specific tag you don’t like and blacklist it.

There’s two explanations for these three downvotes.

  1. They honestly think it doesn’t belong here and downvoted it for that purpose (Highly unlikely).
  2. They think it’s a “dislike” option (which it isn’t) and you’re not allowing them to have their own opinion.

This is all assuming that he didn’t roll a 1 on each damage roll, even with added in extra damage. I don’t see the tips of those arrows, either, but whatever–everyone knows that anatomy doesn’t matter in D&D unless it’s a vorpal weapon or you have a crit die/deck. (Also? She has no blood at the mouth, which in that kind of art is the really sure sign you’re going to die.)

I always attribute female anime armour to having a stronger magic barrier than male armour in order to protect their exposed skin. If it’s a scifi game, than built-in low-power energy shields. X3

She has 3 arrows in her coming from the same direction, with what looks like the same trajectory. That would mean it’s most likely that they were fired by a single person. To get 3 attacks/round, you need to be at least level 11 (with a fighter base attack bonus).

It looks like two of those arrows went through her ribs and possibly out her back. Because of their uniform depth, it probably means both of them slotted through ribs on the back and the front, slotted through one side’s ribs and broke another, or broke through two ribs. I’m going with broke through two ribs because the third at that angle probably went straight through her spinal column and it’s of uniform depth with the others. I’m not expert on spines or ribs (or arrows or bows or basically anything else except maybe the ability to make good stew), but I think the spinal column would probably need the force required to penetrate two ribs, especially considering vertebrae at that angle are rounded. That would absolutely require a direct hit from a perfect right angle with EXCEPTIONAL force coming from an arrow.

So I think I’ve extrapolated enough bullshit to guess that the bow it was shot from was a high-powered composite bow. I’ve seen archers at that level with a +5 composite bow dish out nearly 100 damage with 3 arrows. Even fighters of 11th level would be hard-pressed to survive that and she looks like, I dunno, a fighter/rogue maybe? She might also be a mage protecting herself with mage armor and rings and all that magey bullshit, which basically guarantees her death, even on a low hit.

Or it’s fantasy logic and I’m wasting my life writing in-depth analyses of pictures on the internet, which almost definitely didn’t have as much thought put into their creation as I just used to justify my point.

I should just go to school so I can learn to serve good stew to rich assholes…
